Rules

The server rules

Most rules are not yours to follow: the server enforces them, and simply makes it impossible to harm others. The few conduct rules at the bottom of the page are watched by the team.

Enforced by the server

What the server prevents

“Your group” is your in-game team (team menu). Every rule is based on it.

Automatic

Players

  • Nobody can hurt a player outside their own group: bullets, melee, explosives, fire, traps, turrets and vehicles included.
  • A vehicle with a player from another group on board takes no damage from you.
  • Nobody outside your group can loot, rob or handcuff you, whether you are standing, downed, handcuffed or asleep.
  • A sleeping bag can only be given to someone in your group.
Automatic

Death

  • The weapon in your hands and your backpack stay on your body instead of falling to the ground.
  • Your body, your backpack and whatever drops around you when you die can only be picked up by your group.
  • You stay downed much longer than in vanilla before dying, giving your group time to help you up.
Automatic

Your base

  • In your Tool Cupboard (TC) zone, nobody outside your group can open, use, break, burn, blow up or deconstruct anything.
  • Nobody can place a ladder, a lock, a cupboard or any building there.
  • What your group owns is protected outside your base too.
  • NPCs, the heli, the Bradley and events (fires, debris) don’t damage anything players built. Only upkeep (decay) applies.
  • At home, neither NPCs, nor the Bradley, nor the heli can shoot at you, unless your group shoots at them from the base: the one that was hit can then fire back for a while.
  • A visitor can only use your vending machines, your mailbox and your slot machines, and knock on your doors.
Automatic

Building

  • You cannot build too close to another group’s base (a base with a cupboard).
  • Outside your base, you cannot build right next to a player from another group, even a sleeping one.
  • 5 Tool Cupboards at most per player.
  • Only the group that placed a cupboard can authorize on it. If you leave your group, you lose your authorizations on your former teammates’ cupboards and turrets.
Automatic

Vehicles and horses

  • A vehicle bought from a vendor, or a horse bought at the stables, is yours for good.
  • A free vehicle becomes yours as soon as you take the driver’s seat.
  • Nobody outside your group can drive it. Others can ride as passengers only if someone from your group is on board.
  • A vehicle or a horse you only took becomes free again if left abandoned for long, unless it is parked in your base.
  • Careful: vehicles are not protected from NPCs and events.
Automatic

Loot

  • An NPC, an animal, the heli or the Bradley goes to the group that led the fight.
  • A hackable crate goes to the group that starts the hack.
  • The crate of a supply signal goes to the group of whoever threw it.
  • An event’s crates go to the first group that kills one of its NPCs, or that opens them.
  • A big monument is claimed by the group clearing it, as long as they stay and for a limited time, with no chaining.
  • A public machine (recycler, monument furnace) belongs to whoever leaves items in it, as long as they don’t stay away too long.

All the details are in the documentation: what counts as “your base”, who gets which loot, what each command does.

Code of conduct

It applies to everyone, in game and in our community spaces. If it is broken: a warning, a temporary ban or a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is.

R1

No cheating

Third-party software, macros, scripts, ESP, exploiting bugs in the game or the plugins: permanent ban.

R2

Report bugs

Found a way to get around a protection or to duplicate items? Report it through the Contact page. Using it is cheating.

R3

Respect in chat

No insults, harassment, racist, sexist or hateful talk, and no shocking content. No spam and no advertising.

R4

No impersonation

Do not pretend to be a team member or another player.

R5

One account only

No alt account to get around a limit (cupboards, purchases, sanctions).

R6

Proper names and signs

Nickname, team name, signs and drawings: nothing insulting or inappropriate.

R7

No abuse of the rules

Using the protections to deliberately annoy another player (locking someone in, blocking a monument for good…) is sanctioned.

R8

The team decides

In case of a dispute, the team decides. A sanction can be appealed through the Contact page.

Sanctions

  1. A warning for a first minor slip.
  2. A temporary ban (from a few hours to a few days) for repeat or more serious offenses.
  3. A permanent ban for cheating, deliberately exploiting a bug, or serious misconduct.

The sanction takes into account how serious the offense is and the player’s history. It can be appealed from the Contact page.

Report a player or a bug

Use the Contact page (subject “Report”) and give: the player’s name, the date and time, the map grid square, and if possible a link to a screenshot or a video. The more precise, the faster we act.
